About BAMSC
What is BAMSC?
The Black Apparel Makers Support Circle – Los Angeles (BAMSC) is a free community resource serving the Black fashion ecosystem in Greater Los Angeles.
BAMSC helps Black fashion designers, apparel makers, brand founders and fashion entrepreneurs find manufacturers, sample makers, sewing contractors, suppliers, retailers and trusted professionals, at no cost and with no membership required.
BAMSC was founded by George Arrington, founder of L.A. Rag Maker.

Who's Behind BAMSC
Founded by George Arrington
BAMSC was founded by George Arrington, a Los Angeles fashion designer and apparel industry veteran with experience in apparel manufacturing, production, quality assurance, consulting and business development. As founder of L.A. Rag Maker, he created BAMSC to help Black fashion and apparel makers access the guidance and connections every emerging brand deserves.

Most brands start by defining their product and customer, creating a tech pack, developing samples with a pattern maker and sample maker, then choosing a manufacturer for production. BAMSC offers free guidance at each step and can connect you with Los Angeles professionals and Fashion District resources.
